LLM from Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune University with specialization in International Human Rights. P.G. Diploma in PM & IR, Annamalai University. LLB from Mumbai University & secured 1 st Position in the subject of Criminal Procedure Code. Seven years of teaching experience in Mumbai & Kolkata. Seven years of practice in the field of civil & criminal matters as Advocate in Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi. Presently working as Assistant Professor – law at Sister Nivedita University, New Town & pursuing PhD in Labour Law from the same University. She has published several articles, book chapters in National & International journals and Journals of repute. She has four publications in UGC Care journals and has presented several papers in various National and International Conferences/Seminars. She has also participated in several workshops, training programs and seminars. Her areas of interest include Labour Law, Company law, Family law & Constitutional law.

Rina S. Kumar is the esteemed Head of the Department of Law at Sister Nivedita University, New Town. She boasts an impressive academic background, holding an LLM from Bharti Vidyapeeth, Pune University, where she specialized in International Human Rights. Additionally, she has earned a P.G. Diploma in PM & IR from Annamalai University and completed her LLB from Mumbai University, securing the 1st position in the subject of Criminal Procedure Code. Rina’s career is a testament to her dedication to both academia and legal practice. She has seven years of teaching experience in Mumbai and Kolkata, where she has played a crucial role in shaping the academic journeys of many law students. Her teaching approach is enriched by her practical insights gained from seven years of practicing civil and criminal law as an Advocate at the Jharkhand High Court in Ranchi. This unique combination of academic and practical experience allows her to provide a well-rounded and practical legal education to her students.

Currently, Rina is an Assistant Professor of Law at Sister Nivedita University, while also pursuing her PhD in Labour Law from the same institution. In her role as an academic leader, she is instrumental in guiding the department towards excellence, developing innovative curricula, and mentoring students. Her research is particularly focused on Labour Law, reflecting her deep interest in understanding and influencing labor regulations and policies.
