ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

She has completed her LLM from the Institute of Legal Studies, Ranchi University in First class in the year 2023. She has cleared UGC NET EXAM twice both in December and June 2022 and June 2023.

She has done her LLB.(H) from BBMKU,DHANBAD and was GOLD MEDALIST of the her university in the year 2020.
She has several publications, journals, articles and has keen interest in researching, mooting etc. Apart from this She has done B.COM (ACCOUNTS HON  )from V.B.U. HAZARIBAG and passed with first class. Prior to joining she' was enrolled with the Jharkhand  State Bar Council in the year 2021 and got enrolled and practising as an Advocate in Dhanbad District Court from 2023. Her area of interest is criminal laws, constitutional law, contract law etc.

Chhaya Lalwani is an accomplished academician and legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Law at Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata. Her academic journey and professional achievements underscore her dedication to legal education, research, and practice.

Chhaya completed her LL.M with first-class honors from the Institute of Legal Studies, Ranchi University, in 2023. Prior to this, she excelled in her LL.B (Hons) at BBMKU, Dhanbad, where she earned the prestigious Gold Medal for her outstanding academic performance in 2020. Her educational prowess extends further with a B.Com (Accounts Honors) from V.B.U. Hazaribag, where she also graduated with first-class distinction.

Her academic accomplishments are complemented by her success in clearing the UGC NET exam multiple times, demonstrating her comprehensive understanding and expertise in legal studies.
